1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Phrasify, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Who may use Phrasify
You must be at least 13 years old to use Phrasify. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use it only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts and player profiles
You can play some parts of Phrasify without an account. If you create an account, provide accurate information, keep your login credentials private, and tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
You may delete your account through Settings. As explained in the Privacy Policy, de-identified game history may remain after account deletion.
4. Play fair and be decent
You agree not to:
- break the law or violate someone else’s rights;
- harass other players or post hateful, threatening, deceptive, or deliberately harmful content;
- impersonate someone or access another person’s account;
- interfere with the app, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or overload the service;
- use bots, scraping, or automation that disrupts the game or creates an unfair advantage; or
- upload malicious code or misuse Phrasify to spam anyone.
5. Content you provide
You may be able to submit nicknames, messages, puzzle phrases, collections, group information, or other content. You retain any rights you already have in that content and are responsible for making sure you have permission to provide it.
You give Phrasify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, format, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, improve, and provide the service. If you choose to make content public or share it with a group, other people may see and share it. We may remove content that violates these terms or creates risk for Phrasify or its players.
6. Phrasify content
The Phrasify app, branding, design, code, and puzzles supplied by Phrasify are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use them for personal, non-commercial play. These terms do not give you ownership of Phrasify or permission to republish the app or its puzzle library as your own.
7. A casual game, not a guaranteed service
Phrasify is provided for entertainment. There are no cash prizes, and scores, streaks, rankings, schedules, or puzzle availability may occasionally be delayed, reset, or wrong. We may add, change, pause, or remove features and may stop providing some or all of the service.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or end access if you materially violate these terms, abuse the service, create risk for other players, or if we need to protect or discontinue Phrasify. When practical, we will try to provide notice. Provisions that logically need to continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will continue.
9. Disclaimers and limits on liability
Phrasify is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will always be available, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phrasify and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. If Phrasify is found liable for any claim, total liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Phrasify during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date. Continuing to use Phrasify after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a change is significant, we will provide additional notice when reasonably possible.
